Who are we?

“…the glimmers of sunlight shining through the branches and leaves of trees…”

Since 27 March 2024, Komorebi Consort has been building a profile as a young ensemble specialising in the performance of eighteenth-century church music and especially the works of J.S. Bach and others from his milieu. Having performed the “Johannes-Passion” twice in Belgium and Italy, they have filled churches and concert spaces across six European cities (and counting). Having garnered the support of many of the leading figures in their field including Sigiswald Kuijken, Benoît Mernier, and Frédérick Haas, they are beginning to reach a wider public.
