Valentin Delafontaine

Valentin Delafontaine is an eclectic young French-Italian musician.

As a tenor, he’s a member of the choir of the Orchestre de Paris (soloist in 2023 and 2024).

Also graduated from the Paris Conservatoire in cello, he regularly plays as an additional cellist with famous Parisian orchestras (Orchestre Colonne, Orchestre de Paris...). He’s currently about to finish his superior studies in Paris. In september 2023, he joined the KCB (Brussels).

As an organist, in 2019, he was appointed principal organist for the Paris Archbishopric.

His musical activities lead him to perform in famous concert halls and festivals: Philharmonie de Paris, Radio-France, Palais des Congrès de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet, Salle Gaveau, Aix-en-Provence festival, Victoria Hall (Geneva)... sharing the stage with internationally renowned musicians: Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, Gautier Capuçon, Karine Deshayes, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Richard Galliano, Roberto Alagna..., conducted by Tugan Sokhiev, Simone Young, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Daniel Harding, Klaus Mäkelä.
