Octavio Amado Gaspar
Octavio Amado, from São Paulo, Brazil, started studying music at the age of 8. He studied modern violin at the Theater City's Music School from São Paulo and at the São Paulo's State Music School (EMESP). In 2009 he began studying the baroque violin with Luis Otávio Santos (BR/NL). In 2020 he graduated in Luis Otávio's baroque violin class at EMESP. Currently he's doing a baroque violin bachelor with Benoît Douchy and Mira Glodeanu at Brussels' Royal Conservatory. As part of the early music practice's research he also plays the viola. Versatile instrumentalist, he has played in many different music styles productions like baroque music ensembles, concerts and operas, pop and folk music bands, symphonic orchestras, etc.
