Elisabeth Ternisien
Elisabeth Ternisien is a French alt-mezzo.
She began her music education with jazz singing and musicals. She began lyric singing with Isabelle Guillaud and Doris Lamprecht at the Paris Conservatoires. She also studied drama at Les Enfants terribles in Paris.
In 2023 Elisabeth obtained her bachelor’s degree in the Brussels Royal Conservatory in Christine Solhosse's class. She entered the Conservatorium Maastricht in Axel Everaert's class. She regularly performs in vocal ensemble with the Catharsis ensemble and the Meesters and Gezellen project under the guidance of Yuval Weinberg. She regularly sings oratorio solos in Masses by Bach and Vivaldi.
She played the lead role in The Old Maid and the Thief by G. C. Menotti in several festivals.
Elisabeth received teaching from soloists such as Marina Viotti, Edwin Crossley-Mercier, and Géraldine Chauvet at the Castel Artes summer academy. She performed in Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortilèges at the Monte Carlo Opera's young soloists academy for in December 2023.
